The existing SHGs are doing well but there are some more women left outs identified in this area.  Such women expressed their willingness to form into SHGs and thereby taking up income generating activities.  This is the first felt need expressed by women in the villages where the focus group meetings were conducted.  This requires constant motivation and monitoring and HELP also giving much importance to strengthen existing SHGs by adding new SHGs so that their collective bargaining power increases which in turn results in better networking and profitable marketing.  SHGs in Andhra Pradesh creating sensational achievements and recently they have started marketing their products in Europe and other western countries.  This is also one of the motivations behind women preferring to form more SHGs in target area.  Hence HELP is giving much priority to such activity
