Child Rights

            For one decade we worked to protect the child rights in the coverage area. We mainly focused on reducing child labour on phase wise model. Our aim is to increase the retention rate in the schools by bringing the dropouts back to formal schooling. We concentrated on tribal children who are deprived of formal schooling. We run bridge school and mainstreamed more than 400 children, particularly tribal children. Having longstanding interaction with the tribal communities we worked with them and motivated them to send their children to the schools. However yet there are many children who are away from the formal schooling. We are working towards eradication of child labour along with promoting birth registrations, accessing total immunization and micro-nutrient supplementary food to infants and their mothers. These basic issues help in managing child rights program in the area.
