Mahabubnagar District is very literacy rate. The rate is often more in certain pockets where there are schedule tribes and castes more in population. Education in these areas probably had slipped from the priority due to various ranging from poverty to inaccessibility.

HELP gives priority to education children. For the last 6 years HELP was conducting various programmes on awareness aiming at increase in literacy rate. HELP has 10 literacy centers oragnised at various Trible Hamlets of Doultabad Mandal. Where no Govt. Schools exists.
